Overview

This fast-paced, informative session will introduce the participants to new materials and techniques that are designed to simplify clinical practice and yield predictable, problem-free restorations. Participants will learn clinical tips and techniques for eliminating common problems associated with routine clinical procedures. These will include tips for creating successful Class II restorations, mastering flawless crown and bridge impressions, enhancing esthetics in anterior direct bonding cases, and following proper adhesion and curing protocols. During the hands-on portion of the program, clinicians will review techniques for making common clinical procedures both predictable and profitable.

Dr. Marc Geissberger

Dr. Marc Geissberger

Dr. Marc Geissberger obtained his dental degree from University of the Pacific in 1991 where he was invited to membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) dental honor society. He immediately returned to the school and has taught for 28 years. Dr. Geissberger has also served as President of the National Chapter of OKU. In 1994 he obtained a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from Pacific. From 2000-2015 he served as Department Chair of Restorative Dentistry. Currently he is Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Dentistry. He directed Pacific’s Aesthetic and Complex Care Clinic and teaches many hands-on CE courses in Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Geissberger has numerous publications including a textbook entitled Esthetic Dentistry in Clinical Practice (Wiley-Blackwell). He has presented nationally and internationally teaching in over 400 CE programs. Additionally, he is certified as a Personal Trainer. He maintains a private practice focusing on reconstructive and esthetic dentistry in Greenbrae, CA.
