Limited Warranty
Successful, long-lasting composite restorations require tight interproximal contacts and natural contours. The Halo sectional matrix system is designed to help you create beautiful, anatomically contoured composite restorations in less time. The system includes nitinol rings, stainless steel matrix bands, and wedges that work together to give you consistent results you and your patients will love.
- Helps eliminate flash to reduce time finishing and polishing1
- Each component of the system is designed to work together to create consistently beautiful, long-lasting restorations
- The Halo system provides consistently tight contacts1
- Convenient carousel dispenser keeps the system organized and prevents components from spilling if dropped
Long-Lasting, Nitinol Rings
Although the glass-filled nylon tines of the Halo ring are strong and rigid enough to securely hold the Halo matrix band in place, they are also gentle on soft tissue thanks to their anatomical contours that match the natural curvature of the tooth. The anatomical contouring of the Halo rings helps eliminate flash to save you time finishing and polishing the final restoration.1
Halo rings are stackable, allowing for use with MODs and other Class II restorations and provide sufficient separation for adjacent restorations, if needed. Made of super-elastic nitinol that maintains its force with less fatigue, Halo rings will retain their strength and longevity, are fully autoclavable, and can be used over 1,000 times.1
Naturally Contoured, Stainless Steel Matrix Bands
The ultra-thin 0.038 mm stainless steel bands of the Halo sectional matrix system are anatomically contoured to the natural shape of the tooth. In particular, the curve at the marginal ridge creates ideal occlusal embrasure. The anatomical contouring of the Halo rings helps eliminate flash to save you time finishing and polishing the final restoration.1
Available in two varieties—Original and Firm—Halo matrix bands give you the flexibility that you need for the many restorations you perform. Original bands allow for more adaptability and better burnishing, while Firm bands resist deformation.
Halo matrix bands are easy to place and remove. Strategically placed tabs and tweezer holes allow for easy placement, manipulation, and removal using the Halo tweezers. Tabs are also bendable to allow for increased visiblity. Firm Halo matrix bands are color coded according to size to allow you to select the matrix band you need from the Halo carousel dispenser quickly and easily.
Adaptable, Stackable, Easy-to-Use Wedges
The active wedging provided by Halo wedges delivers enhanced separation and expands to adapt the matrix band at the gingival margin. Their stackable design allows for the use of multiple wedges if needed, and their collapsible center allows them to further adapt to the prep.
Halo wedges are color coded according to size, allowing you to select the wedge you need from the Halo carousel dispenser quickly and easily. Plus, they are easy to place and remove with specially designed holes made for fast and simple placement, manipulation, and removal using the Halo tweezers.
