Ultradent Expands the VALO™ X Curing Light Family with the VALO™ XS and VALO™ XG Lights

Ultradent Products, Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of high-tech dental materials, is announcing the launch of two new additions to its award-winning VALO™ X curing light family: the VALO™ XS and VALO™ XG curing lights. The two lights extend the VALO X light platform with new lens sizes and curing modes.

Both lights share the engineering that has made VALO X curing lights trusted essentials in dental offices around the world: aerospace-grade aluminum unibody construction, a custom LED chip, a low-profile head for posterior access, one-button activation with the Accelerometer Function, and the option to work corded or cordless.

The VALO XG curing light features an 11.7 mm lens designed for total coverage of larger restorations, helping to reduce the number of cures needed during a procedure. Like the rest of the VALO X light family, it offers Standard Power and Xtra Power curing modes, a built-in black light diagnostic aid mode, and compatibility with accessory lenses, including the ProxiCure™ Ball lens, PointCure™ lens, TransLume™ lens, Interproximal lens, and White Light lens.

The VALO XS curing light is built with pediatric dentists and orthodontists in mind. Its 9.7 mm lens fits comfortably in smaller mouths and over individual brackets, and the light offers three power modes: Standard Power, Xtra Power, and Ortho Quadrant. In Ortho Quadrant mode, the light pulses for three seconds at a time with a two-second rest between pulses. The VALO XS curing light also features a built-in black light diagnostic aid mode and is compatible with four accessory lenses for added versatility.
