  • Ultradent Introduces Edelweiss

    May 2, 2012 Salt Lake City, Utah

    Ultradent Products, Inc. plans to launch Edelweiss, a uniquely engineered composite veneer system, at the California Dental Association Session in Anaheim this week. Attendees of the session will get a first glimpse at the low-cost, esthetic alternative to custom lab veneers.

    Each composite veneer in the Edelweiss system is laser sintered, combining a high-gloss, uniform surface with a thermally tempered base. This unique manufacturing technology makes Edelweiss veneers harder than other composite veneers, resulting in greater resistance to scratching and wear.

    Ultradent intends Edelweiss as a solution for those seeking a lower-cost alternative to custom lab veneers, unlocking the opportunity for dentists to offer esthetic smiles to more patients. With no need for lab work or separate appointments for consultations, impressions, temporary seatings and permanent restorations, Edelweiss allows patients to get a natural-looking, long-lasting smile in just one appointment.   • Opalescence Invites Offices to Say “I Do”

    April 30, 2012

    Ultradent Products, Inc., manufacturer and distributor of Opalescence products, invites offices to participate in its Opalescence “I Do” contest. Any office can enter a “bride-to-be” for an opportunity to win cash and product prizes. Details of the contest, along with a “bridal packet” for entry, can be found at www.idocontest.com.

    Participation in the “I Do” contest begins by requesting a bridal packet online at www.idocontest.com. The office must submit a before and after photo for each bride whitening with Opalescence who participates in the contest. The photos will be submitted for voting online at the contest website.

    Ultradent Products, Inc. will be recognized for exceptional innovation as an honoree of the Utah Genius Award on April 24, 2012 at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah.   • Ultradent Honored For Contribution To The Health Ministry Of The Southern Tier

    April 2, 2012 South Jordan, UT

    ​Last week, Dr. Dan Fischer, President/CEO of Ultradent Products, Inc. accepted a beautiful Steuben Glass sculpture as a thank you for Ultradent’s support of The Health Ministry of the Southern Tier. The honor followed Dr. Fischer’s lecture at the 52nd anniversary of the Joseph Ferraioli Memorial event at the Corning, Inc. headquarters. The event is sponsored by the Sixth District Dental Society and presented by the Bi-County Dental Society of Chemung and Steuben Counties.

    “We were grateful to have Dr. Fischer as our speaker for the 52nd Annual Joseph Ferraioli Memorial Lecture”, said Dr. Ron Bellohusen, the head of the Bi-County committee. “His presentation was both informative and inspirational. I believe Dr. Ferraioli would have enthusiastically approved. We thank you [Ultradent] for your support of our local dental health ministry through your donation of products.”

    The annual meeting is dedicated to Dr. Joseph Ferraioli as a tribute to his years of community service and dedication to academic excellence in the profession of dentistry. Dr. Ferraioli, a graduate of the University of Buffalo Dental School, made a major contribution in service to the community of dentists in Steuben and Chemung Counties by acting as a public relations liaison for Corning Glass works for twenty-two years. He was the main organizer for the Tri-County Dental meeting. In his honor, Dr. Fischer presented on the topic of “Minimally Invasive Dentistry: Back to Basics".

  • Ultradent Reaches a New High for the Utah Food Bank

    Ultradent Product, Inc. proudly announced its total food and dollar collection for the Utah Food Bank. In a competition with its South Jordan, Utah neighbor, eBay, Ultradent beat the competition with a total of 85,659 pounds of food! Ultradent and eBay combined exceeded last year’s total by 68,459 pounds of canned food!

    The Ultradent vs. eBay’s “Beat It” competition encouraged employees and customers to collect cash and canned goods for points towards a company total. The resulting total of 148,013 pounds from this year’s competition equaled enough to feed thirty families of four individuals, three meals a day for an entire year.

    Dr. Dan Fischer, CEO/President of Ultradent said “eBay was an admirable opponent! The competition was challenging yet rewarding knowing we were working together to assist the Utah Food Bank, one of our favorite charities”.
